Consciousness Has No Limits:
Small Healer Groups Override Random Devices Globally – Just by Meditating
Dr Joe Dispenza | 16 January 2026
Along with our research partners at HeartMath Institute, we’ve just announced compelling new findings that expand the current scientific understanding of the boundaries between human consciousness and the physical world.
Published in Explore, a peer-reviewed Elsevier journal, the paper – titled “Correlations between Onsite and Global Networks of Random Number Generators during Group Healing Meditations” – examines whether emotionally coherent group meditations can produce measurable effects beyond the human body.
Drawing on data collected during five live meditation retreats led by Dr Joe Dispenza over six months, the study analyzed synchronized activity between random number generators, or RNGs, located onstage at the retreat venues and a network of hundreds of RNGs distributed around the world as part of HeartMath Institute’s Global Consciousness Project 2.0.
The results showed statistically significant correlations that appeared only during the group meditations – known as Coherence Healing™ sessions – at Dr Joe Dispenza’s retreats, suggesting that shared intention and emotional coherence may be linked to measurable effects beyond the physical body.
This supports the hypothesis that a relatively small, highly coherent group can measurably and positively influence the global consciousness field.

Key Findings
- During 15 Coherence Healing meditations at retreats led by Dr Joe Dispenza spanning six months – with approximately 1,000–2,200 participants per meditation – random number generators (RNGs) became synchronized with HeartMath Institute’s global RNG network – despite each of the RNG systems being designed to operate randomly and independently.
- Because RNG devices are engineered to behave by chance like a very sophisticated coin-toss – randomly producing 0's and 1's – their synchronized behavior during the Coherence Healing sessions – and only during those sessions – suggests that collective focus and emotional coherence generated by relatively small, highly coherent groups can measurably and positively influence the global consciousness field.
- When results from all meditations were combined, the overall pattern resembled what’s known as “evoked potential” in neuroscience, suggesting the RNGs were responding to the energy generated by retreat participants during the Coherence Healing sessions.

Background
The Global Consciousness Project 2.0, which conducted the study, is an initiative led by HeartMath Institute investigating the relationship between human consciousness and RNG behavior. Researchers analyzed data collected during Dr Joe Dispenza’s Coherence Healing meditations conducted at his live retreats.
In these meditations, a group of people come together with the intention of healing another. Selected individuals with health conditions – “healees” – lie in the center of a group, while surrounding participants – “healers” – enter into emotionally elevated, coherent states. In a guided meditation, healers direct compassionate intention toward the healees, with the aim of supporting physiological and psychological well-being.
