A Story of Hope for Suicide Prevention Awareness Month
Dr Joe Dispenza | 22 September 2026
In honor of Suicide Prevention Awareness Month this September, Zach returns to reflect on his Story of Transformation, first shared in 2021, and provide an update on his life today. After surviving a school shooting and losing friends – including one to suicide – Zach struggled with severe depression and thoughts of self-harm. But after discovering Dr Joe’s work and committing to a meditation practice, he gradually regained a sense of hope, happiness, and connection to life.
Now, almost six years later, Zach shares his reflections on the ways meditation has transformed his life. As you’ll hear in his testimony, meditation has become so much more than a way to manifest physical changes, as he originally intended. Zach uses his practice as a tool for regaining a sense of well-being during difficult times – returning to it again and again to help open his heart, experience the eternal, and go beyond what exists in our physical world.
