She Hid Her Depression – Until This Happened
Sofy lived with severe depression for decades. Over time, the episodes grew darker and more frequent, until suicidal thoughts became part of her daily reality. As a healthcare professional, she felt unable to admit what she was experiencing and carried it alone.
She tried medication and therapy, but it wasn’t until she discovered Dr Joe Dispenza’s books that she felt hope. Drawn in by his unique combination of science and consciousness, she began listening, studying, and eventually meditating every day.
At her first Week Long Retreat, she faced resistance but chose to stay, even through discomfort. Her commitment paid off, and over time, the benefits of her daily practice became clear. During a retreat exercise, Sofy practiced embodying her future self – a version of herself defined by joy instead of depression. Today, Sofy no longer defines herself by depression. What remains is hope, self-compassion, and love.
