She Fell in Love With Life – and Her Liver Tumors Shrank

“It got to the point where I didn't care. I didn't care – because I felt so good. Anything could be happening in my body. I just felt so good.”

LouLou went in for what she thought was a routine ultrasound to address suspected gallstones. Her gall bladder was clear – but subsequent testing revealed 25 lesions on her liver. Doctors told her the organ looked like a leopard, it was so covered in spots. There was no confirmation of cancer, but the threat loomed.

The threat governed LouLou’s life for the next eight years. Fear dictated every thought, every feeling, every plan she made. She’d just about given up on life – until she came across a meditation by Dr Joe. She committed to the work totally. If she had to wake up for work at 2:30 a.m. to catch a flight, she set her alarm for 1:45 to meditate. And she didn’t miss a day – or night – for eight months.

And LouLou started to notice changes in her life. As she changed her inner state, her experience of life around her began to change, as well. And soon, she felt so good, she didn’t care about an outcome any longer. And, as Dr Joe says, “that's exactly the state of mind in which the body changes.”
