Insomnia Controlled Her Life - One Week Changed It
For nearly two decades, Nichole lived with severe insomnia. She was prescribed the maximum dose of Ambien and accepted that sleep simply wasn’t meant for her. After eight years, she became chemically dependent, yet never felt rested.
With mounting anxiety and declining health, Nichole eventually weaned off the medication under medical supervision. But the insomnia remained, and she stopped believing normal sleep was possible.
At her first Week Long Retreat in Denver, Nichole set one clear intention: to change her relationship with sleep. During a meditation, she stepped out of the identity shaped by insomnia and into the version of herself who slept naturally. The internal shift was immediate.
When she returned home, Nichole fell asleep without medication for the first time in over ten years. Today, she sleeps through the night and often wakes before her alarm - rested, calm, and clear.
Recorded at the San Diego Week-Long Retreat in December, 2025.
