Her Cancer Kept Growing — Until She Started Meditating
Dorota clearly remembers the call when her doctor told her the biopsy from her cervix was positive for a rare and aggressive neuroendocrine cancer, one with no cure. It had progressed so far that when the doctor attempted surgery, it had already spread to her lymph nodes.
She moved very quickly through the standard treatment path: hysterectomy, radiation, chemotherapy. For a time, the scans improved. Then the cancer returned, this time in her lungs and lymph nodes. Nothing was working, and the severe side effects included struggles walking, challenges to her eyesight, and ever-increasing weakness.
Something inside her told her she needed to pursue other solutions. On a recommendation, she tried Dr Joe Dispenza’s meditations and began studying his work. Eventually, Dorota decided to attend a Week Long Retreat. “It was incredible,” she recalls. “I already knew I was going to be healed.”
Dorota credits addressing her feelings of abandonment and unworthiness as critical parts of her healing process. Over time, follow-up biopsies showed steady improvement. Month by month, the cancer receded. Today, Dorota is cancer-free.
