Twelve years ago, Susan was diagnosed with Merkel cell carcinoma, a rare and aggressive neuroendocrine skin cancer. At the time, her prognosis was just five months. What followed was intense medical treatment: chemotherapy, daily radiation, multiple reconstructive surgeries, and lasting side effects that affected her ability to speak, swallow, move her neck, and produce saliva.

Although the cancer was gone, the damage from treatment remained. Susan lived for years with chronic complications, including a thyroid that had not functioned in more than a decade. After stepping away from meditation, she eventually returned to the practice through Dr Joe Dispenza’s work and began Blessing of the Energy Centers daily.

At her first Week-Long Retreat, changes began immediately. She regained full range of motion in her neck. Then, during a walking meditation, something she had not experienced in years happened, salivation. For the first time, she no longer needed water just to speak or eat.

Today, Susan describes feeling a level of peace, freedom, and liberation she has never known – a healing that went far beyond survival.
