Finding Hope – and Committing to Change

In 2019, Alexander was diagnosed with a rare neurological condition called multiple system atrophy (MSA), a disorder that significantly impacted his mobility, energy, and daily life.

Within a short period of time, his health declined rapidly. Everyday tasks became difficult, and symptoms continued to progress.

At first, he didn’t believe in meditation or the possibility that things could change. Everything began to shift when Alexander came across stories of transformation. What stood out to him most was a sense of hope… something he hadn’t felt in a long time.

He committed to the work – meditating daily, even on the hardest days. Some days were discouraging. Some days felt like nothing was changing. But he kept going.

Over time, he began to experience moments of improvement and moments of setback. When he drifted away from the work, old patterns returned. When he recommitted, things began to shift again.

Today, Alexander continues his practice and is focused on supporting others, using his experience as a reminder that change is possible with commitment and intention.

Recorded at an Orlando Week-Long Retreat in October, 2025.
