After a Stage IV Cancer Diagnosis, She Decided to Become Her Future Self
In June 2024, Claire was diagnosed with stage IV bowel cancer that had spread to multiple areas of her body. Doctors told her the disease was incurable and that treatment would focus on managing symptoms and extending her life.
After the initial shock, Claire made a simple but powerful declaration:
"I'm going to be a miracle."
As she underwent chemotherapy, she discovered Dr Joe Dispenza's work and gradually shifted her focus from fighting disease to becoming a different person. She committed to meditation, began noticing subtle changes in how she felt, and chose to define herself by possibility rather than prognosis.
One small change on a scan became all the evidence she needed to keep going.
Determined to deepen the work, Claire used the last of her savings to attend a Week Long Retreat in Cancun. There, she describes experiencing an overwhelming feeling of love that lasted for hours and gave her an unshakable sense of certainty that she was already becoming the person she wanted to be, regardless of what future scans might show.
Weeks later, her PET scan came back clear.
Today, Claire's story is a reminder that transformation doesn't begin when life changes around us. It begins when we change who we're being.
