She Released Fear – and Healed an Inoperable Aneurysm

“I went to my neurologist for a consult, and he was completely shocked. ... ‘You must have not had an aneurysm in the first place.’ That was his way of explaining it. But I knew that I had been healed.”

A few years ago, Ann awoke from a dream in which she was spinning – to find herself in a nightmare of a bleak diagnosis and prognosis. “The good news is, you aren't having a stroke,” doctors told her. “The bad news is, we found an eight-millimeter aneurysm on your left carotid artery.”

Terrified, Ann had a moment of reckoning. Already involved in Dr Joe’s work, she told herself, “Now is the time. I believe in this work.” And she dove in.

As Ann went to one specialist and then another, she was unwavering in her practice – sometimes meditating as much as six hours a day. The news from her doctors was no more hopeful as the days progressed – but Ann’s meditations were bringing her peace. She could feel herself changing, even if test results didn’t reflect it at first. She believed she had the power to heal.

As her meditation practice deepened, Ann had increasingly mystical experiences. She felt more and more liberated from fear. And then, during a powerful meditation, she felt the aneurysm being extracted from her body. Her doctor tried to revisit her diagnosis, but Ann knew what had happened. She had changed ... and she had healed.
